Triplicate is het derde album van Bob Dylan met popstandards in drie jaar. Na Shadows In The Night (2015) en Fallen Angels (2016) brengt Dylan net voor zijn 76ste verjaardag een 3 dubbel cd uit met maar liefst 30 nummers. De eerste single is Frank Sinatra's 'I Could Have Told You' waar zijn doorleefde stemgeluid slechts wordt ondersteund door steel pedal en staande bas. En het resultaat is prachtig.
