Wat bij Jon Savage ooit begon als een soort soundtrack voor bij zijn boek 1966, is nu gestaag aan het uitgroeien tot een mooie serie sixties verzamelaars. Volgend op het eerste deel, 1966, verrscheen vorig jaar het deel 1967. Savage doet nu een stap van twee jaren terug en brengt ons in het jaar 1965. Ook nu weer trakteert hij ons op een door hem zelf samengestelde dubbel cd (47 nummers in totaal) met een grote en interessante diversiteit aan muziek uit 1965. Alles wederom smaakvol aangevuld met een boekwerkje met daarin zijn eigen herinneringen.
