Het album met 11 nummers, opgenomen in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Frankrijk, en Hollywood's Sunset Sound en geproduceerd door frequente medewerker Joe Chiccarelli, is voorafgegaan door de eerste single "Bobby, Don't You Think They Know?" met de geweldige Motown R&B zangeres Thelma Houston. De nieuwe LP markeert Morrissey's eerste collectie origineel materiaal sinds Low In High School uit 2017. Naast het titelnummer bevat het nieuwe album zeer Morrissey-songtitels zoals “Darling, I Hug a Pillow,” “What Kind of People Live in These Houses?” en “My Hurling Days Are Done.”
