Het is inmiddels geen geheim meer dat Humberto Tan een groot liefhebber van muziek is. Zijn hart gaat met name sneller slaan door de betere soul-, r&b en discomuziek van de jaren 60, 70 en 80. Zijn kennis en zijn enthousiasme was een mooie aanleiding om Tan te vragen een selectie te maken van zijn favoriete muziek.

Dit soundboek bestaat uit vier cd's met daarop maar liefst 80 nummers die door Humberto Tan zelf zijn uitgekozen. Bovendien bevat Let's Dance - Mijn Dance Classics nog een leuk boek dat werd geschreven door muziekjournalist Jean-Paul Heck. Hierin neemt Humberto Tan ons mee in zijn muzikale leven.
