In de week na het uitbrengen van hun achtste studioalbum, ‘Giants of All Sizes’ (oktober 2019) gaf elbow een aantal speciale akoestische optredens voor select publiek in Leeds, Kingston en Manchester. Tijdens deze show speelde Elbow zowel nieuwe 'Giants of all sizes' nummers als nummers uit hun oudere repertoire. Onderdeel van deze intieme tour waren twee optredens in Elbow's thuishaven, in The Ritz in Manchester. Daar zijn de opnames, die op dit album staan, gemaakt.
