Mort Garson - Journey To The Moon And Beyond (Mars Red) 

Sinds Sacred Bones in 2019 ‘Plantasia’ heruitbracht explodeerde de interesse in Garsons muziek. Televisie programma’s, documentaires, podcasts, hip hop tracks, ze maakten de laatste jaren allemaal veelvuldig gebruik van zijn typerende Moog geluid. En opnieuw dook interessant materiaal op in het Mort Garson arhief. Het culturele fenomeen heeft bijvoorbeeld in 1974 een soundtrack geschreven voor de blaxploitation film ‘Black Eye’. Alsmede veel muziek voor commercials en zelfs dierengeluiden die hij opnam voor National Geographic en muziek die hij componeerde voor de live CBS News uitzending van de Apollo II maanlanding in 1969.
