Monty Python’s Fliegender Zirkus (Monty Python’s Flying Circus) bestond uit twee Duitse televisiespecials van Monty Python van elk 45 minuten, geproduceerd door de WDR voor de West-Duitse televisie. De twee afleveringen werden voor het eerst uitgezonden in januari en december 1972 en werden volledig op film opgenomen, grotendeels op locatie in Beieren. De eerste aflevering werd in het Duits opgenomen en de tweede in het Engels, waarna deze in het Duits werd nagesynchroniseerd.
Deze shows zijn voor de release van deze blu-ray, na een uitgebreide restauratie van het originele bronmateriaal, opgewaardeerd naar high definition.
